First Contact/Icebreaker Limits

A first contact or 'Icebreaker' is a message to a member who has never sent you a message before

Once a member has replied to you or written to you directly, it is no longer a first contact. You can write to this member as often as you like.

Limits:

  • With a free basic membership, you can write to up to 10 members a day with whom you have not yet had any contact, up to a maximum of 100 initial contacts per month.
  • With a Premium membership, the daily limit increases to up to 25 first contacts, or a maximum of 300 per month.
  • And with a VIP membership, you can make up to 50 first contacts per day, or a maximum of 500 per month.

Please note

  1. These first contacts/Icebreakers are linked to the completeness of your profile.
This means that the more areas you have filled out in your profile, the more first contacts you can reach. However, if your profile is incomplete, your first contact limit will be reduced accordingly.
  2. Icebreakers reset in a staggered manner starting from the day you send the first icebreaker.
    Example:
If on January 1st you send your first 10 icebreakers, 30 days later the tracker adds 10 back, and so on. They *do not* reset all at once on the 1st of each month or every 30 days.

Imprtant info

  • A message to an administrator is not counted as first contact.
  • The predefined 'No, thank you' response is not counted as an answer.
